enrolment process

  • To join the waitlist, please complete the online form located at nurtureelc.com.au/enrolments/waiting-list-application.
  • When a position becomes available in the correct age group of your child, you are contacted using the information provided on your waitlist application. Please get back to us promptly as we are unable to hold the position.
  • Once we have discussed your requirements for childcare, families are emailed an official offer of place. An enrolment booklet, direct debit form and policy and procedures documents are also emailed at this time.
  • To confirm your child’s place, we ask families to pay a non-refundable enrolment administration fee of $180, and a bond. The bond is calculated by the number of days your child attends x 4 weeks. The bond is transferred to your bond account, and is offset against the last months fees, when you give us four weeks notice in writing that your child is leaving nurture.
  • When the enrolment administration fee and bond is received, your booking is confirmed.
  • Prior to your child’s first day you will receive an email to attend an orientation time with your child. At this time you will also be emailed a room brochure which has useful centre information, room routines, a map and information about your child’s educators.
  • At orientation or within the first week of attendance your child will receive a gorgeous Nurture enrolment pack.

Please take note

  • There is one central waiting list for both of our Brighton centres and a separate waiting list for Parkville and Newtown.
  • The length of the waiting list varies from centre to centre, and some age groups are more popular than others. Families are offered places according to the date their application form was received.
  • For details on the priority of allocating places, please refer to: http://education.gov.au/priority-allocating-places
  • The fee to join the waiting list is $50 per family and additional children can be added at any time. This fee is non-refundable.
  • At Nurture we have a minimum two day enrolment requirement per child. Attending Nurture for two days or more per week helps your child to settle in quickly and to get the most out of our curriculum and programs.
